10 - Day IFR or Finish Up
10-Day IFRThe instructor will travel to your location. Prior to the class start date, the instructor will review your goals, experience and schedule to help assure we meet your expectations. Our IFR Guide will help ensure all areas are covered.
Based on weather considerations, we begin each day with 3-4 hours of ground school, grab a bite, then 3-4 hours of training in your airplane. You provide the housing and transportation, if required. During the training process your instructor will be continuously preparing you for the oral and flight exam. We will coordinate the selection and introduction of a DPE to streamline the process and eliminate any surprises. Your instructor will be dedicated to your training, without interruption. This allows you to focus on an enjoyable and fulfilling learning experience. |
IFR Finish UpWe leverage same methodology we use for the 10-Day IFR for the student who has started IFR lessons but needs to finish up their rating.
Prior to the class start date the instructor will review your experience and log books to come up with a schedule to help assure you can finish up your Rating in an efficient manor. You will also receive the tailored IFR Guide so you can review what you've covered in the past and jointly we will address any gaps in advance of the training session. During the sessions our instructor will providing continuous feedback, tailoring subsequent lessons addressing any gaps that have been uncovered. Using this methodology we often find training takes less time than estimated, so you can enjoy your instrument privileges sooner with less cost. |
Accelerated-IFR is cost effective with our one-on-one focused approach. Given the instructor shortage with many younger time-builders, IFR students often get frustrated being tossed around from instructor to instructor. We've solved that.
